Review content:
Shubert theatre brings all the Broadway shows to Connecticut. It's a live theatre and generally has shows such as Cats, Rent, and all the huge hits that have hit Broadway.
This isn't a regional theatre like Long Wharf Theatre. This has the bigger shows, while Long Wharf usually has plays and small musicals.
This theatre is absolutely huge. There are 3 balcony levels. I don't recommend the top balcony. It's hard to see the performance and you will definitely feel like you are in the nose bleed section.
They often have concerts and guest "Stars" that will perform in their shows. Their ticket prices are comparable with NY ticket prices, and they don't have coupon days or cheaper nights.
