Review content:
Howard's Books is within blocks of Northwestern University and downtown Evanston, but people don't seem to know about it because it's a little secluded. The store offers great prices, though, and often has discounts for students. Their selection is constantly changing, and it's hard to leave without making a purchase. The man behind the counter is also very nice and helpful.
