My friend wanted to treat me and my visiting mother to tea. I had not heard of Gaks and looked forward to the meeting. WOW! I can't say enough. We saw the beautiful pink building and inside it is like 'check your issues at the door and be pampered'. Sally the owner, is a living angel. She took such good care of us, I felt like it was a little vacation. She gave us hats and gloves (which we wore!) and we all had the most special time. The decor is lovely and charming, so many details to keep your mind aware that someone went to a lot of trouble to make me comfortable and feel special, but not cluttery. The tea was the best- I recommend the Peach Ginger and the food was great. She has homemade soup that was written up in the newspaper. We spent hours there, but you could go for breakfast, lunch or Sunday brunch. We all felt like such ladies and so special the whole time we were there. I HIGHLY recommend this place. It is great for a kids tea party, or adults. She even has top hats and canes for the men. Sally and her shop are a blessing- and don't forget some homemade dessert. Oh my- delish. Perfect place to bless a girlfriend, mom, daughter, or any special person with a nice luncheon. I will be back soon. Pros: Girly and beautiful all the way. Cons: There is not one on my corner. (Garner)
