I recently had my first massage at Capristo's wellness spa as a surprise gift. You have to walk downstairs to get to it but once you enter the spa its quite relaxing- soft music, muted light and wonderful scents.
I travel a lot and have had many massages in great spas all over the globe, and I have to say that this was one of the very best I have ever experienced. Angie was warm and friendly and made me feel completely comfortable. She asked pertinent questions to get an idea of what my needs and expectaions were- and clearly she listened because what she did was exactly what I needed. I had a deep tissue massage which she performed with flow and without ever crossing my pain threshold, sprinkled with light twists and stretches. I didn't feel rushed, in fact she went 10 minutes over the hour and didnt mention it. The next morning I felt fantastic (not sore!) and the pain in my shoulders and neck was gone! I hightly recommend this hidden treasure of a day spa, and Angie is by far the best MT I have found in Pittsburgh!
