The classic numbers as we all remembered back with the first owner tony (2003) will ever be forgotton .Tony tried to maintain the reputation of the Name Numbers. By then it was to late and the beloved Numbers with it's classic and upscale shirt and tie look shut down. Carlos the second owner ran this place into the ground but not as bad as Moss the last owner (2009).Carlos went from a gay hustler bar to then go straight then decide that area needed the gay bar scene and flip flopped for a year and with along those moves lost the upscale restaurant and hired on a bunch of weho kids the place lacked management and then closed. (Again I was not surprised but also I would make most weeks over 2K, I was also pissed at carlos for putting the management positions to the wrong people)..the place was mis managed and then closed. finally some time later The new numbers opened. It took an hour and a half for food to leave the kitchen but it was worth the wait. I loved the cream spinach ..and everything else on the menu.(I ate there 5-7 days a week) I was not at all impressed with the new decor. The red carpet was gone the classic elegance was gone and the place was now a stripper gay bar with a restaurant ..a dam good restaurant .The place had more of a chance making it as a restaurant than a bar. but like seeing any instability everyone soon lost faith including myself as the place was on a land slide going down hill. straight bar..gay bar. stripper bar. it's like a radio station going from country to rock and roll to oldies. this guy really drove the place into the ground.A great owner but just lost sight of what this place really was and the cry for it to be here.I use to have customers/clients fly in from all over the world to come in and have dinner with me and to enjoy my company. who ever buys this place please put the red carpet in get some older classy waiters and please give west hollywood back there restaurant the town needs!! I guess I can operate out of eleven for now -The Tuedo Prince
