Th e Old Bethpage Village restoration promises a day of education disguised as fun for you and your kids. It's like stepping back in time, with different season events that encourage you to come back for more. People in period costumes "work' at old time crafts and play 'old time' games. You can see a working blacksmith shop (home Depot it isn't) a general store hat shop and a really different type of gift shop. Also there is a working farm with many animals. Worth a visit!
