My husband and I love Indian food and have been looking for a good place to go in our little Cumberland Mall area. We stumbled upon this place and honestly weren't expecting much. My hope is that they would at least have decent naan. We decided to chance it on their 'Unique for Two' special. You could tell it's an upstart family operation. The grandmother and mother cooked, father hosted and sisters were waitresses. They were all very friendly. I never had to ask for a refill on my water. The food: For $30 we got a minced chicken dish (I forgot the proper name), tandoori chicken dish, saag paneer dish and chicken masala dish. We each got a soup and dessert. We also EACH got our own basket of naan and all the rice we needed. The food was tasty and seemed just spicy enough. The naan was excellent and even the lentil soup (I'm not a fan of lentils or soup) was delicious!
We went on a Thursday night and we were one of five couples. I really hope this place survives. It's great deal with great food.
