They Seem ok. but pricey and maybe not as upfront as they could be. I've been into Craigs Car Care 4 times. Every time i take one of my cars over there i feel like a get cheated a little bit. for example, one time i went in to get my "brakes replaced". When they came back with a quote, they gave me a quote that had their most expensive brake pads on it. They failed to mention they had 4 levels of brake pads (good/better/best). they just charged me for the premium ones.. They did a good job on install. I think its a little shady not to tell me about those options though. Another time i went in. I went in to get the battery changed and for work on my speedometer (2004 envoy). Two things kind of irked me on this visit. A. They didnt initially tell me "they" had to farm out the speedometer work. (which if i would have known.. i would have just gone to the dealer directly) B. They charged me over 300 bucks for the battery. 130 of that was to evaluate if it was the battery or the alternator. (When I brought it in I told them that I had already checked the alternator with my battery charger..) I got charged this anyway. Another time i went in I had my thermostat fixed. (because thats what they said was making my service light come on) However after i got home again. .. light came back on.. been on ever since.. the team is really nice and I do think they are honest. (ive certainly seen shops that were completely NOT). but after 3 of 4 trips being less than great.. I think I'm going to find another shop that is somewhat local
