As I watched the vendors vanishing I began asking questions and discovered that the Goodyear Swap Meet is closing down. Apparently, the state is purchasing the property.
So, now what?
Several of the Vendors are relocating to the A-to-Z Indoor Marketplace in Peoria. It's a bit slow now as the shops are just setting up, but looks like it could become the indoor version of Goodyear, with a classier look (it's all black draping and feels like a trade show).
