Texas wildlife, precious gems/minerals, butterflies, Egyptian artifacts... all of it's at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. A great way to spend the day with your family, this museum offers a wide range of intriguing diplays and IMAX movies. Several recent exhibits include The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and another one entitled "Gold! Natural Treasure". So take a peek at the displays, see a movie in 3D, and don't forget to visit the gift shops on your way out.
