One of the WORST dental offices I've been to. My first time there, the staff was not friendly or helpful at all. The hygienist was horrible, rushed through my cleaning, was rude when I asked questions, and just seemed annoyed that she was working on me. I had to ask HER if they're taking xrays. She said NO. Every dentist I've gone to the first time, they always take xrays. I asked will I see the dentist. She said NO. Every office I've gone to, after hygienist does cleaning, the dentist always comes in, checks your mouth, your xrays, and tells you what you need to know. I said I want to see the dentist, she said wait in the office. She also said I have bad gum disease so I should see a periodontist but gave me no more info. I waited in the office thinking the dentist was coming or someone would tell me about seeing periodontist. The staff said nothing to me and the dentist never came. I asked again for the dentist, they said you don't need to see dentist, you're here just for cleaning. So I asked about periodontist, they said you're insurance won't cover it. They couldn't wait to get rid of me. I went home, called my insurance, and they said they do cover periodontist. They just need to see a referral from dentist and xrays. I knew it!! I WAS RIGHT!! I had to make another appt. even though I dreaded going back. They took xrays, I was seen by a dentist who said I should see periodontist. But back in the office they were still rude and unhelpful. They still said insurance won't cover it so why bother contacting insurance for approval. I had to practically beg them to do it. Well they called to say I wasn't approved. I wonder if they even contacted insurance for approval. The only good thing was the dentist named Dr Susan Grossman, she was nice and thorough, helpful, answered my questions, and wanted me to go for other treatments. But she's not in charge or the main dentist. Overall the rest of them made me feel like crying. I will NEVER go there again!
