Review content:
I took my wife's car for a state inspection to the Goodyear at 7620 Wornall. It was failed for a broken muffler strap and a cracked windshield. I had the muffler strap repaired, but the windshield should have passed. Instead, I was told to have it replaced, which will cost $250, outrageous on a car with 135,000 miles that likely isn't worth that much. It's especially egregious considering that according to the state of Missouri, it should pass. I showed them the page from the Missouri code book which outlines six reasons for rejection, none of which fit this vehicle. When presented with this irrefutable evidence, I was told "Our inspection guy failed it and that's the end of it." Too bad that guy is completely incompetent. Vehicle inspection is not rocket science, and when you're faced with irrefutable evidence that you're wrong, be man enough to admit it. Not this place though, they argued and acted like I was wrong, despite the proof I gave them. They'll never see me again, and I advise anyone reading this to take your car elsewhere. This shop is full of incompetents who believe the customer is always wrong, even when they're right.
