Review content:
Lightening Lockout Services & Security replaced all our locks about six months ago. Their quote was about 1/2 the costs of another well regarded locksmith company. They added three new locks, replaced two old locks, re-keyed three locks, all in about four hours on a Saturday. We were very impressed with their professionalism, but didn't write a review because we wanted to make sure our locks worked after the passage of time.
A week ago, one of the new locks got sticky, and we had trouble turning it. Called Lightening again. They offered to come over and gave options as to time. We picked a Saturday. Their locksmith came over and was very apologetic, explaining that the lock was defective. He immediately replaced it at no cost. We're so impressed by his professionalism. Not only initially, but for standing by his work six months later.
We have come across so many unprofessional persons (for instance, we had this pest inspector before we bought our house who missed a major a problem and was mad at us for having the nerve to ask him to come out to take another look. And wanted to charge us another $300. I was ready to sue that guy for his major screw-up and he asks for money?!--you'd think I let this go after almost 3 years, but man, that guy was awful). Lightening Lockout is on the opposite end of the spectrum. Thorough, professional, friendly, and efficient. Even six months after their work. We are thrilled and would absolutely recommend them.
