Stylist did not listen at all. Seemed preoccupied - talking to neighboring stylist and gawking at a cute guy that was in the shop. My hair was about 7 inches past my shoulders with long layers and in really good condition. I told him that I wanted to grow out my layers, so just wanted to have about an inch and a half trimmed off the bottom and cleaned up. I figured this was an easy job and I didn't need to go to a regular salon and pay $60. bucks for a little trim. The cut: First he trimmed the bottom. He started at the back and when he got to the front, I could see that he'd taken off about 4 inches!!. My husband was there and even he said wow that's more than an inch and a half. I should have made him stop cutting then but it looked so bad like that and he said that it was because he needed to trim some more off the layers to make it work. Against my better judgement, I let him continue. Lo and behold before I could say STOP, I mean really fast, my hair was chopped into major disconnected layers that did not make any sense at all - as in "no shape whatsoever." Then he stopped cutting said he was done. Suddenly he was in a huge hurry and never even checked my hair because his next appointment (who was a friend of his) had arrived. One side was more than an inch longer than the other. I asked him to fix it and he begrudgingly cut a little bit off the longer side, but it was still uneven. He didn'tt seem interested at all in how my hair came out and was already talking to his friend by now. I was in shock. My hair was a MESS! A few months POST FLOYD's my hair is about 4 inches past my shoulders and the horrible choppy layers are now barely hitting my shoulders. The layers are disconnected by 4 inches or so. Yet I'll still have to wait a few more months before having it cut/fixed because of the heavy choppy shoulder layer. This will take years to fully grow out. Yes, that's how bad it is. I'm not exaggerating when I say WORST HAIRCUT EVER!"
