I was fortunate enough to meet Shelly because I was desperate for a back massage and she was the only therapist available at a time I could make. After the treatment I was relieved and intrigued enough to ask more about the type of treatment she offered and ended up having the full 11 sessions of SOMA massage. Every session was a different experience and I was quite sorry when I reached the last one. I felt shifts on an emotional and physical level and I can still (over a year later) feel the beneficial effects. Shelly’s handiwork catapulted me to a new level of body awareness. I stopped smoking early on in the therapy. It was spur of the moment, and I think it may have a lot to do with the fact that my chest had allowed to open, and I remembered what it felt like to breathe deeply again. I didn’t want anything spoiling that experience. If I had the cash spare, I’d cross the ocean and do it all over again.
