An extreme RIGHT-WING university created to cater to the lunatic fringe. Pepperdine Student John Frederic Anderson is convicted of shooting two people (LAT). Pepperdine employee William Charles Lane is found guilty of the shotgun killing of 15-year-old Larry Kimmons. Speech professor Fred L. Casmir is a former citizen of Nazi Germany, Luftwaffe cadet, Hitler Youth Leader, minister, and former German army infantryman (LAT). Pepperdine Chancellor M. Norvel Young pleads guilty to killing two women and injuring a third while driving drunk. Pepperdine has also accepted millions from Iran. Pepperdine President William S. Banowsky pleads guilty to insider trading and pays $754,000 fine to the SEC. Pepperdine Regent Richard Mellon Scaife verbally abuses women, drinks, and sleeps with prostitutes (VF, CJR). Pepperdine student John Wesely Jermyn is homeless and prefers to be paid in food, liquor, and paper for his services to the Crazy Robertson clothing brand(WSJ). The Graphic reports pepperdine students drive drunk. And of course, there is all those unnecessary and preventable insurance claims filed by pepperdine (insurance fraud???).
