I haggled with price with 3 different window companies for about 3 months before going with Penguin. It payed off when I got my windows 40% cheaper than the 1st price I was quoted. I dealt with the window salesman of the 3 companies in the same manner as purchasing a new car. I TALKED THEM DOWN ALOT over 3 months.
Andersen windows were the biggest pieces of junk and the most expensive of the 3 companies.All they have is name recognition. They wanted extra $ for stuff that Penguin included for free(exterior cladding,int. trim etc.)
The Penguin installation guys out of Danvers MA were courteous and professional. My house was cleaner when they finished than it was before they started. I think their names were Evan and Dwayne.
I have saved over 50% on my heating bills since and love my Penguin windows.I recomend them to everyone. Bill B.
