This dealership pulled the old Bait - Switch move on me. Negotiated a price on a specific used V8 SUV, then at the signing table, tried to claim that we were buying the V6 with low options and high miles. We have emails clearly identifying that the interest was the V8, but they tried to boost the price 6K at the table. After talking to multiple managers here, and realizing that the guy doing the switch is one of their veterans, it became clear that they viewed this practice as acceptable, something they could easily try to brush off as a mistake (which is unlikely given the experience of the sales associate). I had previously enjoyed their sales department, but I will never go back to any member of the Elmhurst Auto Group after this experience. I now go to either Westmont or Barrington for all BMM issues.
