Heres the scoop. I am a nyc foodie. I hate most restaurants in the hamptons, honestly I never look foward to going out to eat when I am out east. Tonight my girlfriends family took me to Pierres for Valentines day. First we arrived 10-15 minutes late, yet they seated us within one minute even though the place was packed. Next, I was extremely delighted to see that they offered the regular menu and not just the Prix Fixe menu, due to the fact that it was Valentines day. Furthermore, the food was absolutely superb! I went to paris the summer, and this honestly topped anything I had there. I started with an onion soup, that was clearly made from fresh ingredients, and then followed with the filet of beouf. The meat was perfectly crusted with fresh and delectable seasonings. The potatoes that came with it were to die for! We did not order dessert due to the fact that we had cup cakes waiting at home, however, the waitress brought out linzer tarts and chocolates because she forgot to bring out one of the wines we ordered earlier right away. The music was awesome! Very Ella Fitzgerald meets france. The pace of the restaurant was great. I know most people like to sit there until its time for another haircut, however I like to be up and out in a relatively timely manner (not suggesting that you are rushed by any means). Overall, this has become my new favorite french place, and has taken the spot of la goulue. Pros: Fantastic food, music, promptly seated! Cons: honestly nothing
