Review content:
My grandson was baptised at Loving Savior, he was 6 years old, there were no classes provided for him or his parents or God parents. They just called him up during the service asked a couple of questions which he did not understand, I had to coach him from my seat. The was no recognation of the God parents, before, during or after. I provided lunch for the congreation, thinking that possibly this would bring the congreation together for a celebration of this very special day, sadly there was none, no congratulations, no hugs, truly sad. The young people in attendance also must learn that their elders come first, and not to crowd in and start taking the food before the adults and older adults. On the other hand my grandaughter was baptized at the Danish Luthern Church in Yorba Linda, and it truly was a CELEBRATION!!!! The service celebrated the baptism, the congreation expressed their well wishes to all of the family during the lunch that we provided. It was such a happy occasion as compared to Loving Savior. My family has not returned to Loving Savior sunday services since then.
