Good: The new 09 Malibu I owned for 5 days. Bad: Due to incompetence of the staff, I bought a new 09 Mailbu LTZ and had it for 5 days. On the 5th day they called me and said that the car I bought did not qualify for the Cash for Clunkers due to gas mileage restrictions. They had punched in the LS in the computer, but the loaded LTZ had a 6 cylinder which brought down the gas mielage. By the time they told me I had to bring the car back, the CARS program was almost over (one day left) and all other dealers I called were no longer accepting the program.. Improvements: I think they should have eaten the 3500 and kept me happy, but that was never even offered. I'm sure I could have gotten a lawyer but I'm just not that kind of person.. Other: I wonder what would have happened if after owning a new car for 5 days you or I decided we wanted to bring it back. I can only imagine what the dealer would have to say about that..
