Review content:
I took my son-in-laws' jeep wrangler into the shop a couple of weeks ago. Last year he hit the off ramp and did some damage to it. While he was away visiting his mom and dad in Indiana (just home from Iraq), I took his jeep in to get it fixed. It wouldn't go into 2nd gear. The shop put it up on the rack, and determined, free of charge, that there probably wasn't anything wrong with the transmission, that the frame was interfering with the stick shift. I took it to a body shop (auto body excellence) which is in the same pkg lot, and they got the frame squared up. Low and behold, the gears shifted perfectly when the frame was fixed. Poway transmissions didn't charge a nickel for the diagnosis, and even took the car over to the body shop for me....When and if I ever need a transmission shop in the future, I know who I will choose, and recommend. Vicki Lane, Poway.
