I was a Cincinnati Bell customer for 20+ years and a wireless customer over 5 years. The billing and customer service were terrible, there were constantly charges that were unexplained and had to be adjusted on my wireless bill. Roaming charges when we hadn't left the local service area. I was questioned one time about a local number that I was billed for calling and the "customer service" rep INSISTED the call was made from California, where that phone had NEVER been! I waited 2 days for a supervisor to call me back to apologize for their error and an adjustment to the account was made HOWEVER, she insisted on "upgrading" my account to accept more included features for "no additional charge" yet the following basic bill was $40 higher than it has ever been before!!! Now that I have cancelled my account with them due to the mis-leading discrepancies and lack of service, I attempted to negotiate the final bill amount based on the inaccurate "adjustments" that were made and I am told "we don't make adjustments, your account will be sent to collections and you can ask them for an adjustment"!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? The lack of customer service from Cincinnati Bell has been absolutely unacceptable throughout my last 5 years of service with them, it makes me wonder how many times I didn't go over my bill and simply just paid it monthly rather than finding their mistakes. I strongly recommend staying away from Cincinnati Bell!!!
