SDSU is not one of the best schools in California by any standard. All the UCs are better, most of the CSU campuses are better, and many private schools are better. Most listings put it in the second or even 3rd tiers. The only rankings that make it look good are based on its size, not its quality, and are published by SDSU usually.I went to SDSU after attending classes in 6 other universities (some joint programs) and I have taught at 5 universities and community colleges in addition. With student, research assistant and adjunct faculty experience in 11 institutions, my opinion is based on real data. SDSU's administration is a mountain of red tape that makes the IRS looks friendly. Faculty treats students like cattle, with little or no interest about the student's aspirations or career goals.The party school reputation only illustrates the lack of seriousness, the high rate of failure at SDSU shows the lack of quality in pedagogy and faculty commitment.Even graduate students have terr
