Well, I wrote that last review three years ago, and I'm sorry to say I know more about Mike's than I did then. They kept trying to charge me $850 to fix an oil leak, using scare tactics about the car catching fire, saying it was so expensive b/c they had to remove the engine. I freaked out and had my dad look at the thing because, come on, the car is going on 20, do I want to spend almost $1K to fix it? Long story short, he found they'd not replaced the oil gasket seal last time they gave me an oil change. You know, that rubber thing that goes around the cap and keeps your oil from slowly leaking out. Yet they claim to have this 25-point check or whatever.
Mike's is very smooth at finding problems with your car you weren't aware of and which aren't really that important. I never went back there again and am glad. I now see the honest guys up at Teele Square Auto.
