Review content:
I've been going to Companion pet Clinic for many years. Many years ago I was impressed with their level of care, low cost and customer service. Unfortunately over the past few years my experiences have been nothing but negative. Long long waiting time, uncaring front office staff, hurried back staff and when you finally get to see a Vet, she is also in a hurry and really does not even take the time to really care about the pet. The past few years I get the sense that the purpose has shifted from "caring" to "how much money can we make". No medication is refilled that my dog has been taken for years unless she is seen every 3 months - of course that is a OV charge again. The medication is not refilled unless expensive blood work is completed every 3 months. The price of a dental is outrages. The waiting time is horrible. Of course you have the option to pay extra to have an appointment. I did that once, and you know what? I waited just as long as I did without an appointment, except now my waiting time was inside the exam room vs in the waiting room. I am certaintly looking around for a more caring Clinic, which might get me a Vet that we see over and over, not a new one each time. Though their prices are just a few dollar below other Vets, its not worth the waiting time and like I said before I strongly get the sense that its all about the money with them now, which is sad. I did rescue for many years and took all the fosters for spay/neuter to Companion and not once would they give me so much as a dollar off for any of the service/meds etc. So if you value your time, looking for a Vet to establish a caring relationship with and need reasonable prices - this is not the place to get it. I am only giving it two stars vs one star because I have this sense of loyalty having gone to them for so many years.
