Review content:
This place makes me happy. I wish I could stop at that, because it truly does sum up everything. First of all this restaurant's location is beautiful. There are two lakes next to the restaurant, and the rest of the scenery are just gorgeous rolling hills. It's peaceful and tranquil, until you get into the restaurant where suddenly you are transformed into a ravenous monster who's only vocabulary is "FOOD" and "NOW." You order as soon as you enter, entrees ranging from $14.99-23.99. I usually get the crab cake because they are so delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is lacking something, but as long as you are with good people, or you get a table by the window, it should be fine. The waitress first brings the appetizers around the table in little pots of goodness: cottage cheese, apple butter, celery and pickles, coleslaw, peaches, rolls (including yummy sugared rolls!!!!!!!!!!!). You can also pick a drink and an appetizer-sized juice (V-8 or apple juice). Then once your dinner comes out, the waitress brings out bowls or reaaaaaaaaaalllyyyy tasty fries, corn and green beans. So as you can imagine, the table is pretty much stocked full of food, and everyone is happy. Ice cream or sorbet for dessert is also included, as well as coffee. I like to get Moosetracks ice-cream with is vanilla ice-cream with these crisy bits of chocolate and tiny reeses peanut butter cups. OK, so all in all, if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, or the crying children of the suburbs, come up to Friendly Farms where you will stuff yourself so full with food that once you get back home you will be so comatose you won't know what's going on around you.
