Review content:
I was a regular at Eddies. In the last few years Eddy has not been running the place and it is becomming increasingly obvious.
I took my vehicle in last week because the front end started to shake violently when driving it down the road. I called Eddy's and I was told to bring it in and they would give me a free estimate. I was told that the entire front end needed to be replaced for $2300. I informed the person on the phone that I did not have the money and what would they recommend replacing first. I was told that the very least that should be done would be
to replace both front axles for around $850.I told them I could not aford it and would come in and get my vehicle. When I got there, I found
that my free estimate cost me $40. I took the vehicle to another mechanic and they replaced the left front axle for $300 and fixed the issue. The mechanic showed me the axle that he replaced. The damage was so extreme that there was no way that the mechanic at Eddy's did not spot the actual problem immediately.
