Review content:
I've gotten food from all of the Chinese food take out restaurants. King Chef is definitely the best in Phoenixville in terms of take out but it has its flaws. For starters, there is literally two tables in the place so eating there is not a real option. That doesn't matter, it is take out. The problem arises with the bait and switch that ALL of the Phoenixville Chinese food restaurants take part in. Sometimes the prices will be slightly higher when you order then what is printed on the menu. The prices seem to change weekly and they'll tell you one price on the phone then say another when the food arrives. There is also a bad habit of the Phoenixville Chinese food restaurants forgetting pints of rice.
Now, I can give King Chef four stars because they play this game the least. The food is good and there have only been a few occasions where I've had a problem. I particularly recommend the happy family and the steamed dumplings. They give eight dumplings, whereas other restaurants only give five or six.
