All Island taxi of Mineola is right there at the station, but that doesn't mean they will be there when you need them.
The closer you are to the station, the longer you'll have to wait for a car, even if you were there first. You'll watch as people who came after you get into cars and go. It seems a little unfair.
Some of the dispatchers are very kind and courteous, others are not so nice - it's a matter of luck.
On bad weather days, it can be very difficult and you can wait a very long time before you get a cab.
