My family has been taking our pets to NE Vet for about 20 years. Dr. Price is such a wonderful vet and feels to me like an old fashioned family doctor. He is quite reserved and not the most socially apt person I've ever met, but the moment he begins his examination you realize that you've hit a real gold mine of skill and caring. He provides excellent care and you can see his genuine love of animals - and the fact that his/the business' "bottom line" is not a consideration in his recommendations. He is more than willing to work with families to figure out what's best for the pet and never hesitates to say "if she were my pet, this is what I would do" which goes a long way in making me feel like I'm making the best decision. In addition, he's unfortunately euthanized probably a half dozen of my family's pets and has always been extremely sensitive to grieving humans. I've also had good experiences with Drs. Christensen, Reeves and Moody, though I don't see them as often. The experiences I've had with newer vets have been hit or miss. I question if Dr. Ward in particular even likes animals (or humans for that matter). So far as office staff goes, there are some stellar assistants/receptionists there - Penny and Diane in particular have been there forever - and some that are only okay, but I feel like so long as my pets are receiving the quality of care that Dr. Price provides, the rest of the staff isn't that important.
