This place has to be the biggest joke in the world. The owner Betty Smith can not keep any instructors because she can't pay them and the students are basically just doing whatever. What else are you supposed to do when there is not one teacher there to teach??? Betty has also been known to try and collect tution payments ahead because she needed the money to pay to keep her electricity bill that was 3 months in arrears from being disconnected. I know a person that was put on the floor the second day of class to wrap a perm. So Kerry if your perm turned out good you were very lucky. If you are considering a cosmetology school please look elsewhere because this one should have been shut down by the state long ago. I have talked to students that actually stayed because they had paid the whole tuition and couldn't get any of it back. And also some who have moved to a different school and couldn't get their hours transferred which legally they should be able to do. So please BEWARE! I am not a cosmetologist I just know quite a few and have seen this place first hand. And nothing about the place says more than when you walk in and see nasty, dirty, stuffed teddy bears on the wall as decor. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
