This is one of the finest restaurants I have ever eaten in and I have eaten in a lot of restaurants. It started from the moment we met our charming waiter and it just got better from there. Usually I am not a proponent of cramped seating but I will forgive this restaurant anything because their food is that good. In the warm weather they have a patio so maybe that takes some of the overflow. The parking here is valet because frankly I wouldn't want to try to find my own in this crowded location. Now to the really great things THE FOOD. I started with a baked pear stuffed with bleu cheese , nuts and dried fruits served on a bed of greens. It was divine. My companion tried the fried green tomato salad and was equally as impressed. For entrées we tried the rib eye and angel hair pasta with shrimp. Both were truly inspired and perfectly cooked. Dessert was equally as good, maybe even better. My seasonal raspberry cobbler sent me into ecstasy and my husband was in chocolate heaven with his dense chocolate cake. It was a perfect culinary experience.
