Businiess name:  L'artisan French Bakery Cafe

Review content:
I was sitting at a table in the Cafe waiting for my two family members to arrive so that we could have lunch. I had driven over from Whidbey Island and my father was driving in from Tacoma. After waiting for approximately eight minutes the owner stated I had been waiting too long and insisted I sit on the bar stools against the wall so that customers would be able to sit at the table. There were at least 5 tables available and not enough customers to fill them. I refused to leave my table since it was my intention to have lunch and dessert. She then relented and I decided to "buy" my seat by ordering my lunch and an additional pastry to go. Minutes before my family showed up, I retrieved an extra chair for our table when the owner came over and insisted the chair was needed for the customers and told me she could get me a chair from outside. No one was using the table but yet she went out of her way to be rude to me again when she could have just as easily retrieved a chair from the outside for whomever needed to use the other table. I was humiliated by this deplorable treatment. I demanded a refund and left with my family. It is really sad that this experience was so awful because I absolutely love the quality of their products. However, my family will never set foot in this establishment again and we will make sure that anyone else we know will not either.
