I was a patient of Naperbrook Dentistry for 2.5 years. I had a good doctor but they gave me a new doctor without notifying me. Since I been there for two years I figure they had a good history of me and know how to handle my insurance. So the last time I went there they performed bitewing xrays. So I finished up my procedure. A month later they sent me a invoice for the xrays and that they weren't covered by insurance due to frequency (1 per year). I called and they said to call me back. They never called me back! I had to call them back a week later. Well, they said it was my responsibilty to know what my insurance coverage is. I told them that if I am on the dental chair and the dental assistance tell me to open my mouth, I will open my mouth. I am nervous as it is but now I have to think about my insurance as well? Shouldn't they know my insurance since I was there for 2.5 years? Well, they said they have hundreds of patients and they can't be held responsible for their insurance. I guess they will have one less. I cancelled all my remaining appointments with them. Stay away.
