Review content:
Golden Corral buffet restaurant recently opened at 3360 Green Mount Crossing Road in Ofallon, Illinois offering a delightful array of tasty entrées, vegetables, oriental style foods, salads, and wonderful desserts for the price of $8.50. They also offer a senior price if your over the age of 60. The food was wonderful, warm, and very appealing. I noticed how the employee's continued to turn the food over to keep everything looking fresh. There were servers with pitchers of tea, coffee, or soda available to refill your glasses before they had a chance to become empty. I tried a variety of foods, but my favorite was the bourbon chicken. It was so great I had to return for seconds. A few of the other food items I tried were the mashed potatoes, gravy, brussel sprouts, corn, beans and ham, cornbread, and fried chicken. The steak looked wonderful as they made it right before your eyes, but I was so full from all Bourbon Chicken I decided to leave a little room for dessert. Although, the food is wonderful and a very great value for your money, it was a little difficult getting around the restaurant. Golden Corral could have designed the different areas of food to make it easier to move around. I also noticed that the tables were very close and didn't give you a lot of breathing room. I would definitely return to this restaurant for another meal, but maybe a little earlier in the day when it would be less crowded.
