Review content:
That's what the original idea was. The owners are Thai. A is the husband and he runs the front of the house and Noi, the wife, is the real spirit behind this cafe success. Hence, the name "A & Noi." The chef is a young fellow from the Mediterranean - hence the idea of blending of flavors. They do not blend the flavors in the individual dishes. Rather, the menu offers both Thai and Western dishes. The Thai food is good but not memorable. The Western dishes with a Mediterranean flair are outstanding. You will get near-gourmet quality at just a little more than "coffee-shop" prices. This makes for an amazing value. Noi shops for the freshest of ingredients on a daily basis. During the season, she brings in Heirloom Tomatoes from her own garden. Never pass up the fish of the day. It is always outstanding. Ditto their soup of the day. You will be greeted warmly by Noi and you will enjoy this little, intimate place. They're open for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and dinner only on Saturday.
