Review content:
Tim Robbins is captain of this ship and is very present and hands on in everything they do there. And it shows. The company is amazing. They offer plays that can be intense, funny, edgy and off the chart wild. Their Robbins-directed "1984" was terrifying. And yet they recently presented Thornton Wilder's American classic, OUR TOWN, a touching and sweet story and I swear there wasn't a dry eye in the house. In the fall they began what will be an on-going festival - the "WTF?!?" Festival. On offer was Jack Black and Kyle Gass in a kick*ss rock out with Tenacious D, Jackson Brown, Jenny Lewis, Ben Gibbard, Gore Vidal, TC Boyle, an evening with Sarah Silverman, films, magic, trapeze artists. This company is amazing! I see everything they put on.
