I would absolutely recommend Dr. Tom Williams to anyone! I have since moved away and had a terrible experience quite recently at a vet in the city where I currently live. Therefore I felt compelled to write this review. I miss Dr. Tom! He is the best vet I have ever taken my babies to! I only hope to find someone here who is as caring, trustworthy, detailed and informative as he is.
He was my vet for 5 years. He took excellent care of all my animals. When I have had emergencies, he responded promptly to being paged within minutes. I am finding that many vets where I now live do not even offer any way to contact them after hours and force you to find another clinic that is open 24 hours and for emergencies only.
He was very helpful any time I had questions. He never kept me waiting and always took the time to explain all I needed to know. He didn't rush out in a hurry before you were done talking, like some others do. He is a small operation where you and your animals get personal attention. Larger vets I have been to have several veterinarians on staff where you never get to know ONE and you see an assistant more than the actual doctor. His office is also beautiful and clean, recently remodeled though it looked great before hand. Very much unlike the dump I went to here! My dogs also seemed to be having a great time when they were boarded at Lake Hills for a few days.
Dr. Tom was also extremely compassionate when one of my beloved cats had to suddenly be put down. She was very ill with feline leukemia. It was the worst day of my life. But he helped me get through it. I appreciated being able to take my time staying with her after she was gone...
I'm sure there are many more great things I could say, but I'll leave it at this. If you are looking for a veterinarian, this is the place to go!
