Businiess name:  Tuan Auto Repair
Review by:  Jens H.
Review content:
Tuan is awesome. Precision Tune wanted to charge me $650 to change the tie rod ends and ball joints of my Elantra. I went to Tuan after a good previous experience and he saved the day. He looked at the car and said it only needed the one failed tie rod end replaced. His quote for both tie rod ends had been $300 less than Precision tune and his recomendation brought the quote down to $94. He called later and said my brake pads and rotors were bad. I was leery since this is a common scam but trusted him enough to let him do it. I was surprised when I came to pick up the car and he had saved the rotors and pads for me to inspect and prove that they were indeed shot! I was very impressed by his commitment to keeping repairs only to what is needed and keeping the price down. He is hands down the best mechanic I have ever dealt with and would recommend him to anyone. The total for both repairs came to $284, over $300 less than what Precision Tune wanted for one repair. If there is one thing that proves his commitment it is the layers (literally layers) of cards and letters tacked to the wall of the office from customers thanking him for saving them money on repairs. The shop doesn't look like much but it's a diamond in the rough. Both times I've been there he has walked me back to show me the needed repairs or shown me the broken parts afterward. He is a stand up guy who deserves alot of respect in an industry full of liars and cheats. The only thing to watch for is that Tuan's accent is really thick and hard to understand over the phone. If you can't understand him ask for someone else, there is always someone there who speaks clearer english. I consider that a very small price to pay for such excellent work.
