Businiess name:  The Fresh Market

In Augusta, Ga http://www.thefreshmarket.com/pages/store_locationsDetail.aspx?StoreID=12 sells organic pears in season and they taste like you picked them from the tree. Even the skin is easy to bite into and is not hard and bitter. The inside is crisp and sweet, and the juice runs down your hand. I have always loved pears but never could find anything that tasted like the ones my husband's father use to grow in is front yard when I were dating. There was a tree on either side of the driveway and as we were leaving we would reach out of the car windows and pull a pear from the tree. Papa would yell, "Leave my pears alone." And we would laugh as we drove off eating our pears, knowing he was laughing too. These organic pears cost just a little more, but it is worth every penny. They stay fresh longer than the ones from the grocery store and they taste so much better.
