Businiess name:  Sky Valley Towing

Review content:
In the aftermath of the late-November 2006 snow/ice storms, a car with studs in front of me suddenly slammed on the brakes and hit the turn signal... with no one in front of them and an open road. He apparently had forgotten where his house was. Not having studs, my car slithered around successfully but came resting in a rather deep ditch. Bummer. A call to Sky Valley Towing netted an estimate of "30 minutes to 2 hours". Not too bad considering all the roads around had several INCHES of snow/ice, but I wasn't looking forward to the wait. But 15 minutes later the enormous truck is there and has my car out. It took a bit of work, but he knew what he was doing. Getting the payment sorted (they take credit cards, but the driver has to do a bunch of paper work, call in the details and wait for a return call with authorization, which takes a while when they have a lot of calls) took longer than retrieving the car. Sky Valley apparently has a "snow day" rate, which they warned us about over the phone. It cost me just under $170. But since I had thought that I had "roadside protection" but couldn't locate it when I needed it, this was well worth it. And the speed and quality of service was top notch!
