Review content:
A restaurant I frequent quite regularly has made some changes recently, and not for the better. Amigo's Mexican Restaurant on Eureka & Allen Road in Taylor has discontinued their free refills. I'm a 2 1/2 cupper and with those salty chips and spicy hot salsa it's difficult to keep to just one glass. I was told the last time that I dined there that business has been getting slow. And, what better way to lose more customers than to get rid of drink refills. Charge a little more for drinks, raise your prices a quarter, do what you have to do but don't lose those refills! I, for one, have found that the Amigo's, same name, different owner, on West Road in Woodhaven has the same great food, BETTER service and free refills on drinks. I know which one I'll be having lunch at from now on!
