Review content:
I was having a lot of knee pain from arthritis. The doctor sent me in for physical therapy to see if some exercise would help. While I was there Diane, the lady working with me, noticed that my left foot was badly pronated. The arch was gone and the ankle turned down some. She told me that it would help a lot to get a running shoe made for pronation. That would bring my ankle back into alignment. I went to a store in Augusta, Ga called Mooney's Shoes that I have gone to for years. They specialize in corrective shoes of all kinds. Diane had told me about New Balance, but when I got to Mooney's Calvin advised me to try Brook's because he said it was the best. I got the Brooks Addiction 7 and I wear it all the time. It has made a world of difference in my leg and knee pain and it is a good looking shoe. Brooks is a very sturdy, nice looking shoe. It has a rollbar in the sole that controls the pronation of the foot. It is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and it wears like iron. It is not a shoe that wears out easily and I am tough on shoes. I wear this shoe everyday and will wear a pair over a year before replacing it. Mooney's is a small local hometown store and does not have a website. I am including their address for any local folks but for everyone else I am including a link to the Brooks website http://brooksrunning.com/. You can find the shoe for men or women and it is under motion control and is called Addiction 7 . This shoe is only for those who have pronation problems. Brooks also makes other wonderful shoes for those of you who do not have any foot problem but just need a good supporting walking or running shoe.
