Every Tuesday night from 8:00 to 10:00 pm the L.A. Steel Talk Radio Show electrifies the tri state audience in Ct. Mass. and NY. Starting in March of 2003, a week before the Iraq war and one year before Air America. The L.A. Steel Show is one of the longest running, independently produced, liberal talk shows in America. L.A.Steel and his co-host Leila have brought their listeners the most cutting edge alternative news and commentary . The program was liberal before liberal was acceptable. It has remained fiercely independent and has never been a political party mouthpiece. The L.A. Steel Show has come from its early days of controversy and criticism to near acceptability in one of the most conservative market areas in Connecticut, Massachusetts and NewYork. They bring their listeners the truth in an honest rage. They continually have great interviews with the nation's and the world's most controversial authors and activists. Jesse Jackson, Cindy Sheehan, David Icke, David Ray Griffin, Ed Asner, Greg Palast and hundreds of other celebrities, journalists an politicians. The L.A. Steel Show was the first radio show in the country to interview Ned Lamont in his run for the Senate against Joe Lieberman. WQQQ's listeners can be proud of this station's management and ownership for keeping the L.A. Steel Show on the air for almost four years.
