After years of good, reliable, cheap service to the point where I recommended them to lots of people, I brought my car in one day and they tried to charge me 3 hours of service for 45 minutes worth of work (they called to tell me they found the problem right away and the car was ready) and $90 for a $6-10 part. When I complained about the charges, I was told that the book says they could charge an hour for diagnostics, so they did. They could charge an hour to remove the part so they did, even though it took them 15 to do. When I challenged the repair manager on this he told me, 'how else do you expect us to make money if we don't bill customers every penny we can'. Amusingly this was all because of a repair they did improperly in the first place and I had to come back in and pay more money to have them fix the problem they created by not tightening bolts properly in the first place.
After 10 years of service, this was the last time I've gone there. Won't even go there for an oil change
