I went to Famous Dave's tonight with my book club buddies and we really enjoyed it.
None of us had been here before and at the end of the evening, we all agreed it was a definite 4 star place.
For starters, plenty of parking.
Secondly, the waiting area has these WONDERFUL leather couches that make you wanna sit there all night long. Forget about the food, let's just relax!
Once we got seated, which only took MINUTES - on a Friday night! - we enjoyed the atmosphere and decor. Just FUN.
The staff was super friendly and attentive. My sweet tea was filled numerous time - no problem!
The food portions are huge. I brought home my "lunch" and it will be a BIG lunch tomorrow.
Lots to pick from. Lots of choices! Lots of side orders - lots and lots and lots of everything.
The ONLY thing that didn't work for us was the check. We specifically asked to pay for our meals separately. And were told that it wasn't a problem. But at the end, our waitress divided our meals EQUALLY, when in fact we did not have equal meals. A little bit of a pain - but it was minor.
