Review content:
I recently had a baby in June and I wanted to commend the staff of Shawnee Medical Clinic and Unity Hospital in Shawnee.
Dr. Stephen Trotter is my OB/GYN and he provided me excellent prenatal care. He never hesitated to answer any of my questions and if I needed to call him with a question he always returned my phone call that day. When it came time to have my baby, Dr. Trotter saw how uncomfortable I was and how the only way my problems would go away is for me to have my baby. I had already started going into labor (having regular contractions) and when I went in for my exam he decided to go ahead and induce labor.
The staff at Unity Hospital were so wonderful. They explained everything they were doing thoroughly and made sure I didn't have any questions before anything was done. They were always checking on me and gave me some great advice when it came to nursing my baby. The facility was clean and very secure-especially when it came to the maternity ward.
I was very pleased with my experience and if I decide to have another child, I'll definitely look forward to my return to the hospital!
