Review content:
What in the world is the owner of Bridges Pets thinking? First he closes last June. Then he finds out he can’t break his lease? The Landlord make him honor the lease and re-open. I heard him telling a customer that. Then he re-opens and puts an announcement in the Journal stating:
“We at Bridges Pets are happy to announce that we will reopen for business in Frontier Village July 10, reversing the plans to consolidate entirely to our Snohomish location. Issues with the area’s landlord have been resolved, he adds, allowing the store to continue to operate. Part of the decision to reopen comes as a result of listening to customer concerns about our departure over the last six weeks.
At this time, our Lake Stevens store will offer foods and other supplies, while fish, birds and other pets may be found in Snohomish.
Now he is closed again! What is different this time? He is still skipping out on his lease. What a mess. I went down to Snohomish to get dog food, I am on one aisle and on the other side are Snohomish employees talking bad about the Lake Stevens staff that has joined their ranks. They are upset about them taking their hours. How professional! What teamwork! I feel bad for the old timers from Lake Stevens, they were around for years before those snotty Snohomish new gals were ever hired….AND they remembered me when I came it. The staff at Snohomish does not have the heart the old timers have. The Snohomish gals are backstabbers. The owner has set him self up for a real hostile work environment. But it is obvious to the public that the owner makes one poor business decision after another. If he would have just stayed small and friendly he could have made it work. It was a winning formula. Instead, he got greedy, expanded during a recession, and Lake Stevens lost another business. Why shoul
