I've had good luck with the Salon Schools in the area - especially the one located on North High Street across from Graceland Shopping Center. They are all students, but most everyone that I've had is almost ready to graduate and they've all been very professional. They have TONS of services - manicures, pedicures, waxings, facials, body wraps, even microdermabrasion, along with all of the usual hair services. Also, the North High location takes appointments so you don't have to wait forever like at some school salons. The prices are really reasonable. I just got a paraffin pedicure for $30 and I've had my hair colored for about $35. I believe haircuts start at $9. It is a great place to save some $$ but still look good. Here is their web site: http://www.salonschools.com/ht_docs/services/services_nav.shtml
